Int'l air service resumes in Nepal after 5-month halt

The international air service in Nepal has resumed after more than five months of shut-down.

 

According to the Tribhuvan International Airport, a total of 264 passengers arrived here from Qatar on Tuesday alone. "Two Nepal-based international airlines brought those passengers in two different charter flights," a TIA official told Xinhua.

 

The country has allowed 800 passengers per day to enter Nepal via air transport.
